Fluoride Treatment
Over time, the hard layer of your teeth, called enamel, can start to wear down because of acids made by bacteria. This process is called demineralization. Fluoride helps add new minerals back to your teeth to keep the enamel strong and prevent cavities.
To protect your teeth from decay you can choose to have a fluoride treatment completed in our office. These treatments are much stronger than what you can buy in stores or find in your toothpaste.
The treatment typically involves placing a tray containing the fluoride solution in your mouth for a few minutes or applying the solution with a brush.
