What is endodontic dentistry?
Endodontic dentistry focuses on diagnosing and treating problems related to the tooth’s inner tissues, known as the pulp, which contains nerves, blood vessels, and connective tissue. When decay, trauma, or deep cavities cause the pulp to become infected or inflamed, endodontic treatments are designed to save the tooth and prevent further damage.
