What is a denture rebase?
Rebasing your denture may be recommended when the teeth of your denture are in good condition but the material the base of your denture is made from has worn and is cracked or otherwise compromised. A denture rebase replaces all the material that makes up the base of your denture. Like a denture reline (where only the lining of your denture base is replaced) a denture rebase will extend the longevity and once again create a secure comfortable fit of your existing denture.
What is a denture repair?
There are many reasons why your existing denture may require a repair and not a rebase or reline. There may be some cases where a denture is unable to be repaired. Our doctors will assess your denture and discuss repair options; or replacement options if your denture is unable to be repaired to fit as originally designed.
